Ballroom Dancing
Team Pomelo provides our 4th and 5th grade students with the opportunity to learn the art of Ballroom Dancing. Over a 20 week program, the students master complicated dances such as the merengue, tango, salsa, and swing dance, all the while learning important life lessons. At the end of the year, select students have an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned in front of family and friends at the Ballroom Competition at the end of the year.
Ballroom Dancing is provided by Once Upon a Dance Company
Once Upon a Dance works directly with elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District to provide a social and ballroom dance program to 4th and 5th grade students. The program is designed to promote effective learning techniques and healthy behavioral patterns through the art of dance.
