Schools with a strong school library program ensure their students have the best chance to succeed. Team Pomelo helps to fund our school library by hosting two book fairs a year, along with monthly opportunities to purchase books for the library and our teachers.
Scholastic Book Fairs
There's no Book Fair like a Scholastic Book Fair! It starts with a choice: What do I want to read? And since being empowered to choose their own books is a milestone opportunity to identify and express their own voice, kids also leave the Book Fair as bolder, prouder, and stronger individuals.
Meet Our Librarian
Lianne Kinsella is our amazing library aide! She teaches students how a library works by reading to them, helping them choose two books to borrow each week, and encouraging free reading time during recess and lunch.
